I'm so pleased with my latest new guitar that I don't know whether to hug it, or kick it down the stairs.
That's because this special anniversary Washburn acoustic has been specially distressed to look like an instrument over 100 years old. So presumably the more beaten up it looks, the better.

Circus-goers are hoping to see history being made in Bedford this week, as the stars of Billy Smart's Circus attempt to perform Britain's first-ever quadruple somersault.
The Flying Neves are a Brazilian outfit whose flyer Jose Aston Neves completes a triple somersault routinely at every performance.
The quadruple is described by the troupe as their greatest challenge of their careers.
Our photographer Tracey Goodacre and videographer Natalee Hazelwood went to the circus site at Longholme Way to see the act being rehearsed.
The circus is in town until Sunday, November 16, with up to three shows per day.

Could Luton be about to help propel the England football team to World Cup glory?
The Hatters may be the strongest club side in the country well, they're currently propping up the entire Football League but we're not likely to be providing the national side with any players to dream any time soon.
So how is the town going to contribute to make Rooney, Ferdinand, Walcott and Co?
Step forward the members of Vauxhall Male Voice Choir, who have been busy helping to record an inspirational football anthem which it's hoped will become the anthem to galvanise the boys to perform at their peak.
The song is called Forever England (Wembley) and the choir's involvement came about after they were approached by songwriting duo Thelma Brown and Rob Arnall, who'd heard their sound on the internet.
They were so besotted by their magnificent sound, they felt that it was the only choir who could do the anthem justice.
The piece contains passionate singing from pop tenor Tony Dangerfield, with the choir providing a harmonious backdrop which was recorded at their base - St Margaret's Methodist Church at Biscot Mill.
